Believe it or not, this picture was taken at the crack of noon, in the middle of a major thunderstorm. It got so dark in the house that we needed the lamps to see by.
It tastes just like pineapple and you can use it as you would in any recipe calling for pineapple. This recipe is just one of the many handy homestead recipes you can find in our upcoming cookbook!!!
Today we canned green tomatoes, also using the recipe out of our cookbook. As you can see, Jasmine is reading from the sample copy that we just got back form the printers!
The complete, finished Homestead Blessings Cookbook, is coming soon, so keep checking our website!

wow! All of those fruits look delicious! I bet they made excellent jams and jellies.
Using pineapple juice to can zucchini? That's really neat. I wish I would have known how to do that a couple months ago when we had an abundance of zucchini from our garden! I'll have to remember next year. :)
I'm so excited for y'alls cookbook to come out!! Your videos have been a wonderful blessing to me, I know your cookbook will be too!
Many blessings, xxxx~Kelsey

Well my goodness! Learn something new everyday! Zucchini for pineapple!
I sure enjoyed my visit here. I will be watching out for that cookbook, my girls and I will enjoy it.
We have loads of blackberries or dewberries? on our property..but this year because of the drought the poor little things were so tiny. I would have loved to have tried to can some.
You all are a blessing to us!
