The last of the Zinnias
The corn patch under the Martin houses, praying for a good yield this fall!
Our garden is filled with butterflies
This morning we went to pick apples in one of our small orchards
Some on the trees, some on the ground
The start of a good pickin'
Some were pretty high in the trees and a little hard to reach.
We hope to start pickin' on the hill top orchard this coming week.
Giving our new work horse a sweet snack. Notice her beautiful bluish eye?
We call her Shenandoah, because it means "clear eyed daughter of the stars". She actually has two blue eyes!
We are very excited about getting a new horse, a new "homestead blessing"!

Beautiful... We have a lot of butterflies this year as well! ;) And Shenandoah is beautiful... I love horses.
Blessings in Him,

We have a horse that we call Cheyenne that has one blue eye and one brown! She is sweet natured. Our new pony is not very sweet to her though....sigh.
I am sure Shenandoah will enjoy all the apples you give her! She's lovely...

Such beautiful pictures. The horse looks so very sweet, I love the name.
Have a wonderful day.
Love you blog. You all have a piece of heaven there. Keep it up. Can't wait for the cookbook to arrive. Bless you all. On days that are kinda bad for me I visit your site and things always look better afterwards, thanks. Mugsi
We are up to our eyeballs in apples too. Tomatoes are late due to our cranky Spring weather but those are finally coming on.
Welcome Shenandoah you blue eyed beauty!
What a beautiful horse you have! You have a lovely harvest of apples - do you have any plans for them?
Your pictures are beautiful
Thank you for sharing your day
Blessings
Renata:)
love all of the flowers!
Hello ladies, your new horse is beautiful! So fun to hear about all the happenings around Homestead Blessings this time of year. I too would be interested in hearing about your plans for the apples. I'm hoping to get lots of sauce and dehydrated apples done this month and next, also want to try apple leather with cinnamon, yum! Thanks so much for sharing. Can't wait for your cookbook to come out! Have a blessed day. :)
Nice Pics! Glad to see someone else's harvest and to read that someone else prays for their harvest :)
